The most important feature of Little Giant Magnetic Drive Pumps is that the drive shaft of the motor is not mechanically connected to the impeller, line in most pumps, but magnetically. This feature is especially useful when pump is used for applications where sudden short-term blockage of pump may occur from sludge debris, etc. Such event will not impact the pump and will allow for the drive shaft to rotate even if the impeller is blocked.

Magnetic drive assures leakage-free performance. Polypropylene construction assures superior corrosion resistance, along with ceramics, PTFE, and FKM. These pumps can also be used to transfer strong acids and various other chemicals. The pump structure is extremely simple to operate and easy to maintain.
The MD series comes in a total of 38 models. A wide range of flow rates, hose connections, and threaded connections (M type) are available as standardized models. In addition, dedicated high-head, large-flow-rate models are available. The most economical and suitable pump can be selected from this wide variety of models.
